Our client, multinational food company, is seeking a highly skilled Plant Manager to lead production operations within local facility (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, Engineering) within the established global framework and guidelines.

The successful candidate will ensure that production targets are consistently met, and that the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all relevant international regulations and company policies, while championing a culture of continuous improvement and servant leadership.


Key responsibilities:
  • Drive EHS & Quality Compliance: Champion robust Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) programs, ensuring stringent adherence to all local, national, and corporate regulations and standards. Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety metrics.
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Direct daily factory activities, utilizing balanced scorecards and KPI management to meet quality, operational, and financial targets aligned with the Corporate Business Plan.
  • Strategic Planning & CAPEX: Define and execute the site’s long-term strategy. Identify and manage valuable Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects and maintain stringent hygienic and infrastructural standards.
  • Cultivate Leadership & Talent: Lead, evaluate, and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional team. Embody company values and utilize a servant leadership approach to foster professional growth and target attainment.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives. Implement new technologies and robust operating policies to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven, progressive experience in a leadership role (Production Manager or Plant Manager level) within an international food manufacturing company.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field is required.
  • Language Proficiency: Upper-intermediate written and verbal English language skills are mandatory.
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, and TPM principles is essential.
  • Leadership Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical problem-solving capabilities, a results-driven mindset, and demonstrated experience as a Change Manager comfortable with driving positive change under pressure.
