Project Manager (Dietary Supplements Startup)

A company with 27 years of experience in addressing complex business challenges for pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, pharmacy chains, medical and patient communities, government bodies, and professional associations across the healthcare market is looking for a driven Leader to head a new startup project.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Startup Execution

* Develop and update the project Roadmap for launching dietary supplements on the Russian market, setting key Milestones.

* Participate in project budgeting (P&L, CAPEX/OPEX), budget monitoring, and cost optimization.

* Manage project risks (regulatory, logistical, financial) and create risk mitigation plans.

* Ensure products hit approved time-to-market deadlines.

* Provide regular status reporting on project implementation to business stakeholders.

Medical Channel Development:

* Build a pool of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) among relevant medical professionals.

* Participate in creating scientific and educational materials, brochures, and application protocols for the medical community.

* Organize brand participation in relevant medical conferences, seminars, and webinars.

* Launch and legally administer referral and ambassador programs for healthcare professionals.

* Conduct negotiations with key partners and KOLs.

Marketing and Commercial Launch

* Coordinate brand development (positioning, packaging design, visual identity).

* Participate in shaping pricing and commercial policy.

* Prepare sales infrastructure: marketplace integrations, pharmacy retail entry preparation, and distributor engagement.

* Oversee the launch of marketing and ad campaigns in coordination with the Marketing Department.

Influencer Relations and Blogosphere Engagement:

* Develop a strategy to promote dietary supplements through influencers (Lifestyle, Beauty, Sport, Health) across key social networks.

* Supervise agencies and contractors based on commercial performance metrics.

Regulatory Affairs and Certification

* Coordinate state registration for dietary supplements and secure State Registration Certificates (SGR) with Rospotrebnadzor.

* Ensure product formulas, packaging, labeling, and instructions strictly comply with local legislation.

* Engage with testing laboratories, certification bodies, and research institutes.

Supply Chain and Production

* Manage relationships with international contract manufacturers: Private Label/OEM/ODM.

* Oversee supply chain logistics (finished product delivery, customs clearance, warehousing).

* Control quality standards for initial and subsequent production runs.

Team Management and Communications

* Assemble the project team (internal cross-functional specialists, hiring sales force staff, and external contractors).

* Manage key accounts.

* Set tasks, monitor deliverables, and motivate team members.

* Represent the company before third-party organizations (government bodies, production sites, retail networks) within the area of competence.

Requirements:

* Degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Medicine.

* Additional education in Marketing, Economics, or Business Management.

* 5+ years of Project Management (PM) experience in Pharma, Dietary Supplements, or E-commerce.

* Deep understanding of the Russian dietary supplement market, regulatory requirements (Rospotrebnadzor, SGR), and sales channels (marketplaces, pharmacy retail, specialized retail).

* Proficiency in project management methodologies.

* Proven track record of launching startup projects.

* Adaptability, strong leadership, business acumen, structured thinking, client orientation, and a drive for results.

* Advanced English proficiency
