Financial Controller

Our client, an international company, is seeking a professional in financial management and financial controlling who is ready to influence business efficiency, work with the company’s key processes, and participate in project implementation. In this role, you will identify risks and opportunities and interact with functional leaders on financial management, risk management, and internal audit matters.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation (oversight of preparation) of monthly IFRS financial statements and management reporting;

• Building financial controlling processes;

• Development, updating, and implementation of financial control policies, regulations, and procedures;

• Ensuring that all company processes comply with Russian legislation and the compliance principles of the company’s head office (HQ);

• Development and implementation of a risk management system;

• Providing consulting support to the company’s structural units when agreeing on risk assessments and developing risk response methods;

• Supporting audits (external and internal audit);

• Reporting to the company’s management;

• Project management, including automation of 1C software products (proven experience is required);

• Overseeing the accounting department’s work as part of control activities for fast month closing;

• Building a budgeting system with subsequent automation.

Requirements:

• Higher professional education in economics/finance/accounting/audit;

• At least 5 years of experience with similar tasks;

• Documented certificates confirming completion of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams are an advantage;

• English, spoken and written – Upper-Intermediate or above;

• Strong communication skills, results-oriented.
