ICT Specialist

The ICT Specialist position in Donetsk provides direct ICT support with managing and organizing all ICT systems. Designs and installs ICT infrastructure.

Function description :

• Independently installs, maintains, repairs and monitors ICT equipment in line with ICRC institutional standards: computers, printers, network active elements, cabling, power systems, radios, antennas, satellite phones, switchboards, telephones, smartphones, in-doors cabling and connections
• Provides technical support to end-users of ICT equipment
• Ensures ICT inventory is updated regularly, carries out regular physical checks and maintains adequate stock levels
• Ensures existing ICT infrastructure is functional
• Ensures that all connectivity services of the sites covered are functional
• Briefs, advises, and trains end-users on the ICRC's ICT systems and equipment.
• Drafts and updates technical documentation with the specificity of the context for all ICT equipment
• Maintains contacts with suppliers/providers and follows ICRC logistics and ICT procedures

Required skills:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in IT, electronics, computer science or similar field
• Good command (spoken and written) of English
• 3-4 year`s experience in an area of the ICT service catalogue (workplace services, telecommunications, IT, help desk)
• 1 year of people-management experience a strong asset
• Russian native language
• Good communication and strong organizational skills
• Accuracy, attention to details
• Readiness for business trips
