English teacher

Welcome to Sology School. We are a well-established and successful school operating in Tyumen, Western Siberia, Russia.
Our students are of all ages and levels: from school age children to professional adults and from Starter to Advanced English level. Lessons are conducted in the classroom individually or in groups of up to 8 people.

Requirements:

English as a native languages;
Degree in the field related to the teaching subject;
CELTA or equivalent;
Teaching diploma (PGCE/PGDE/similar);
TEFL certificate;
Availability of documents for employment.
Newly qualified teachers will be considered but preference will be given to applicants with at least two years’ teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

Teach English language skills to non-native speakers, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening;
Create a positive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and creativity for preschool / primary school / secondary school students;
Use a variety of teaching methods, materials, and technology to engage students and enhance their learning;
provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills;
Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development;
Active participation in departmental and school activities;
Encouraging and engaging students to speak in English.

This contract runs for the full academic year 2026-27(September to June), with renewal the following September subject to mutual agreement. Summer work may also be available.
