Android AOSP/BSP Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Android AOSP/ BSP Engineer to work on custom embedded devices built on top of AOSP (Android 13+).

What You Will Do

• Develop and customize the Android platform (AOSP) for embedded devices
• Integrate hardware components such as sensors, cameras, and audio devices
• Work with Android framework services and HAL
• Debug and resolve low-level platform issues
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure stable platform performance
• Optimize the system for performance, stability, and power efficiency
• Participate in AOSP development, testing, and system integration

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Android firmware, AOSP, or embedded Linux development
• Strong knowledge of Android system architecture (Framework, HAL, system services)
• Experience working with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and building Android system images
• Solid programming skills in C/C++ (Java/Kotlin is a plus)
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems
• Familiarity with Android debugging tools (adb, logcat, systrace, etc.)

Experience with hardware platforms

• Experience working with chipset platforms such as Qualcomm Snapdragon, MediaTek, Rockchip, or similar
• Understanding of BSP (Board Support Package) concepts and hardware integration
• Experience integrating hardware components (sensors, cameras, audio, etc.)

Nice to have

• Chipset experience: Qualcomm, MediaTek, Rockchip
• Kernel or driver development (sensors, camera, audio)
• Performance, power, or memory optimization in AOSP
• Experience working with ODMs or hardware vendors
