A project manager is needed for a company that is engaged in the research and development of innovative technologies and projects in the fields of chemical and environmental (cleantech) engineering, starting from research, concept initiation stage and ending with the feasibility study, tests stages, design and building systems for demonstrating the technology (accelerating phase) that will later spin-off to the creation of start-up companies.

The company has developed over the last 7 years, breakthrough plasma-based technologies for multiple applications:

• Medical device-a proprietary plasmatron technology produces Nitric Oxide at the point of care, from ambient air.
• Gas-phase chemical conversion system for producing products for industrial chemical and green energy applications
• Breakthrough materials for increasing the efficiency and lifetime of solar cells

Description

• Managing a project in the medical field: gas production based on chemical and plasma reactor process.
• Leading project that now is passing the feasibility gate
• Preparation of development plans and advanced test plans, managing gaps resolution to lead the product to the end of the technological feasibility and accelerating phases within established deadlines.
• Synchronizes and manages all internal and external activities through a development team and management of subcontractors in the fields of market research, design and engineering, external experts, and labs.
• Working closely with a research team after completion of the initial research for bringing the initial prototype (developed by the research team) towards feasibility study and advanced system design and development
• Working closely with the research team to approve systems from the feasibility stage, development, and final approval before transferring them to stakeholders
• Leading and preparing the technical documentation during the project lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Responsible for projects planning and budget and overseen on team activities and tasks
• Writing project summary reports that encompasses all research, development, technical and market research accumulated information over the project lifecycle
• Leading and managing the feasibility study throughout the accelerating phase including the verification and validation tests
• Evaluating and assessing project strength and weakness
• Managing and overseeing the project's budget and schedules to ensure meeting with goals and schedules
• Leading project status review meetings with the company’s management
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its lifecycle

Position Requirements

• University graduate (M.sc or higher) in Engineering/Physics/Chemistry/Medicine
• Excellent/fluent English writing and very good speaking
• 3-5 years of experience in product development, projects management of multidisciplinary systems
