Style Editor

The Interfax information group is looking for a Style Editor to join our International Information Service team (group of social and political news in English).

About the role:

Leading Moscow-based news agency seeks proofreaders/style editors to edit political and general news texts translated by Russian speakers from Russian into English.

Requirements:

• ONLY ENGLISH SPEAKERS. Candidates must be English speakers, ability to read and understand Russian a must.
• Knowledge of political situation in Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States an advantage.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure essential.
• Ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills essential.

Conditions:

• All positions are in-house at Central Moscow offices.
• Shift work (fixed hours): 10 am - 4 pm or 4 pm - 10 pm.
• Full visa support and holiday entitlement.
