Buyer (Специалист по закупкам)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Commerce / Accounting or similar stream.
• At least 4 – 5 years of experience in a similar position as Buyer or Procurement Specialist preferably all in Mining / Heavy Industry/ Construction.
• Knowledge of the database of Russian suppliers and contacts.
• Basic knowledge of Major Suppliers (International & Regional) of materials & engineering. equipment used for mining projects / processing plants / heavy industries.
• Knowledge of the region through experience working with other cultures and people.
• High ethical and professional standards of business conduct.

• Knowledge of Prism or similar ERP is preferred but not mandatory.

• Advanced knowledge of office MS-programs (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), preferably knowledge of Knowledge of Prism or similar ERP is preferred but not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sourcing and procurement of goods using acceptable procurement practices in a timely manner from the open market.
• Gathering of information about possible goods suppliers and service providers.
• Carrying out market researches on the goods suppliers and service providers.
• Conduction of comparative analysis of the bids.
• Organization of technical evaluation of the bids.
• Organization of commercial evaluation of the bids.
• Reviewing and negotiating procurement/contractual terms and conditions for completeness and accuracy and achieving the best value.
• Maintenance of appropriate records and files.
• Updating department tracking logs and registers.
• Liaison with other departments to determine requirements and obtain specifications on goods to be procured.
• Applying Procurement performance metrics in support of the overall Procurement strategy.
• Evaluation of improvement opportunities;
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and regulations and anti-corruption policy.

CONDITIONS:

• Work schedule: Monday-Friday: from 9 am till 6 pm.
