Cloud Operations Engineer

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing our public cloud infrastructure and ensuring the high availability and stability of our connected vehicle platform applications. You will be responsible for daily maintenance tasks, system changes, incident management, and technical support.

Обязанности:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage public cloud resources including servers, networks, databases, and container clusters.
  • Ensure optimal performance and security of cloud-based infrastructure.
• Application Stability:
  • Monitor and maintain the stability of our connected vehicle platform applications.
  • Implement measures to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Daily Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, issue resolution, emergency response, and technical support.
  • Document and report on all maintenance activities and incidents.
• Incident Management:
  • Respond promptly to system outages or performance issues.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Technical Support:
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements.

• Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in operation and maintenance or related fields is preferred.
• Understand public cloud services such as Huawei Cloud and Alibaba Cloud.
• Technical Skills:
  • Understand Linux, databases (MySQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understand monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Preferred: Prior experience in project management, product management, or knowledge of app development/client-side technologies.
